Are images uploaded to a server?
No. All EXIF data reading is done locally in your browser. Images are never uploaded to any server, fully protecting your privacy.
Why do some images have no EXIF data?
Screenshots, images processed by editing software, or images downloaded from social media typically have their EXIF information stripped. Only originally captured photos contain complete EXIF data.
What image formats are supported?
Supports mainstream image formats that contain EXIF data: JPEG/JPG, TIFF, and WebP. PNG format does not support EXIF data embedding.
Is the GPS information accurate?
GPS coordinates come from the positioning module of your phone or camera, and accuracy depends on the device. The tool converts DMS format to decimal degrees and provides a map link for easy viewing.
